The Mountfield CG 84 ride-on lawn mower is small enough to fit through a standard garden gate but big enough to tackle any grassy area up to one acre in size.

The powerful 352cc STIGA ST 350 engine, manual transmission, and impressive 84cm cutting width make light work of larger areas. The twin-bladed cutting deck with two asynchronous blades and 7 cutting heights ranging from 25-80mm, produce a fantastic finish.

Grass clippings are collected in the 200-litre rear-mounted collector that can be emptied without leaving the comfort of the raised driving seat. When fitted with the optional mulching plug, (available separately), the grass clippings are finely cut into a nitrogen rich mulch to recycle back onto your lawn as a natural fertiliser.

Collection Box

The collector holds a substantial 200-litres of cut grass; can be emptied from the driver’s seat; and features an audible ‘bag full’ warning to prevent blockages.

Height Adjustment

Thanks to its seven-stage height-of-cut (25 – 80mm) and Hydrostaic, the Mountfield MTF 84M Lawn & Garden Tractor can be quickly adapted to suit both the grass-condition and the type of terrain you’re operating on.

Hosepipe

A deck-mounted hosepipe fixture means rotten, corrosive clippings can be removed from the undercarriage without fuss.

Aspen 4 10% Renewable

Renewable fuel for a range of different four-stroke engines

Aspen 4 10% Renewable is ethanol-free alkylate petril that consists of 10% renewable content, extracted from residual waste from the forest and food industry, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions by up to 8%.

Aspen 4 10% Renewable is a specially-developed alkylate petrol for four-stroke engines. It can be used with a whole array of different four-stroke engines, including lawnmowers, rotary cultivators and snowblowers.

This fuel has been developed in close collaboration with professional users. The collaboration lead to the creation of a fuel with the minimum possible environmental impact and a significantly better working environment for users.

Aspen 4 is largely free of harmful components such as benzene and other aromatic hydrocarbons. It not only provides a better working environment for users, it also minimises harmful emissions, and in doing so keeps the engine cleaner. A cleaner fuel minimises the amount of carbon residue and deposits left on the engine, giving more even and efficient operation. The engine becomes easier to start up, and the fuel can be stored for longer periods.

Unsure if your engine is a two-stroke or four-stroke engine? Check if there’s somewhere to top up the oil, or perhaps a dipstick. If you don’t find one of these, it’s a two-stroke engine. Here, you should opt for Aspen 2 10% Renewable, an alkylate petrol mixed with oil, developed especially for two-stroke engines.

Warranty and After Sales Support

Our products are built to the highest standards of quality and performance and our warranty policy is a statement of confidence.

Club Garden. provides warranty on its Stiga products against defects in materials and workmanship. Our products have been manufactured to the highest quality standards and are guaranteed for domestic use against faulty parts or manufacture.

The warranty is not transferable and is not valid on second-hand goods.

The warranty covers all parts and labour undertaken on your machine covered by this policy. This is conditional upon the repairs being carried out by an approved Stiga service dealer.

On walk-behind machines and handheld products, delivery and collection of the machine is the owner’s responsibility and not covered by this policy.

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase by the consumer.  The warranty is not transferrable.

Warranty periods are those effective at the time of purchase and published in Stiga literature and on our websites.  Warranties are conditional on the product being used domestically and being serviced at the recommended intervals.

For products which commercially (i.e. for hire or by contractors, local councils, caravan sites, water authorities, or any similar use where the machine is employed for financial gain or is instrumental in being employed on properties being used for financial gain) the warranty period will be 90 days.

Batteries and chargers on all petrol products carry a 12-month warranty.

Batteries and chargers for dedicated Lithium-Ion powered machinery will have a warranty length varying from 2 years, subject to extended warranty requirements. Please check this with your place of purchase.

Should a product be replaced under warranty, the warranty period will remain effective from the original date of purchase.

Stiga 5 Year Extended Warranty – Effective 01st October 2023

Any STIGA product (excluding spare parts & accessories) purchased online or direct from a STIGA authorised retailer from 01st October 2023 will qualify for 5 years extended warranty subject to the below terms and conditions

Exclusions

The Stiga Warranty will NOT cover the following:

 

      • Consumable items, e.g. tyres, belts and blades (unless accompanied by evidence, satisfactory to Stiga Ltd., of mechanical failure).
      • Second-hand goods.
      • Defects which, in the opinion of Stiga, are in any way, or to any extent, attributed to:

a)            ordinary wear and tear

b)            misuse / accidental damage

c)            failure to carry out the handling and operating instructions set out in the Owner’s Instruction Manual

d)            lack of reasonable care

e)            the fitting of parts, replacements or extra components which are not supplied or approved by Stiga

f)              contaminated/stale fuel

      • Products used / stored outside of the United Kingdom
      • Periodic maintenance services instructed by the operator’s manual, or service replacement parts which would include oil, filters, batteries, belts, cables, brake linings, fabric grass bags, fuses and other service parts unless it can be proven that the item has evidence of faulty manufacture. These items can fail due to normal wear, or through lack of maintenance.

 

Product Registration

Your new purchase should be registered with Club Garden using the warranty card supplied with your machine or registering your new purchase online at https://clubgarden.co.uk/product-registration/.

To validate your warranty in the event of a repair, the original proof of purchase will need to be shown to the repairing dealer, unless you have registered your product in ‘MySTIGA and uploaded your proof of purchase. Without original proof of purchase, this policy will not apply.

Powered by Stiga Engines Warranty (2023 onwards)

Qualifying Stiga engines will carry a 2+1-year conditional warranty from the date of purchase when used domestically. This warranty is not transferable.

To maintain your warranty, your machine must be serviced by a Stiga authorised service centre. Your local centre can be found at http://www.stiga.com/uk or www.servicelink.org.uk.

Your product must be registered within 30 days of purchase.

To maintain a 3-year warranty, the machine must be serviced before the end of the 2nd year of ownership and annually thereafter. Evidence of servicing will need to be produced when making a claim. Failure to keep the machine serviced at these intervals will result in the warranty reverting to a standard 2-year period.

Servicing / Stiga 3 or 5 Year Warranty

Qualifying Club Garden products will carry a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase when used domestically.  This warranty is not transferrable.

To maintain your warranty, your machine must be serviced by a Stiga authorised service dealer. Your local dealer can be found at www.servicelink.org.uk

To maintain a 3 or 5 year warranty the machine must be serviced before the end of the 2nd year of ownership and annually thereafter. For qualifying cordless products, a diagnostic report will be carried out at the annual service, which must include the tool/lawnmower, battery and charger.

Please be aware that when using your machine in certain conditions it will require additional servicing or maintenance as recommended in your user manual.

These conditions include, but are not limited to;

      1. wet weather
      2. dry and dusty conditions
      3. high temperatures
      4. daily use of the machine

Spare Parts

Please note that spare part purchases are excluded from this warranty policy.
STIGA Ltd. may use its discretion, in exceptional circumstances to replace a part that is deemed faulty, subsequent to fitting by an authorised service dealer.

No person is authorised to make any warranties, representations or promises, expressed or implied, on behalf of Stiga Ltd., or to modify the terms, conditions or limitations of this warranty policy in any way.

Stiga Ltd. will under no circumstances whatsoever be liable for any special incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, damage to or loss of equipment, lost profits or revenue, costs of renting replacements and other additional expenses.

Except as stated above Stiga Ltd., makes no guarantee expressed or implied regarding product quality, performance, accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise.

Club Gadren.’s obligations under this warranty are to repair or replace any faulty products meeting the above terms. The decision between repair or replacement will be entirely at Club Garden.’s discretion.

The Club Garden Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights.

 

Delivery Information

FULLY ASSEMBLED
Your ride-on lawn mower will be fully assembled for you.
PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
We will complete a PDI in compliance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

TRIED AND TESTED
Your machine will be fuelled, oiled, run and tested to ensure it is in perfect working order.

PERSONAL DELIVERY & FULL WORKING HANDOVER 
Whenever possible, your tractor will be delivered to your garden on our own transport.You will receive a full working handover by a trained member of The Mower Shack so you can start mowing straightaway.

FOR GREATER DISTANCES
The machine is secured to a purpose-made pallet and protected by a large box. Our transport partner will then deliver the machine by a tail-lift vehicle on an agreed working weekday. You simply unwrap the packaging, push the mower off the pallet and you’re ready to mow.

PALLET DELIVERY
We will fully assemble your ride on mower, so when you receive it will be ready to use.Delivery takes 2-5 days, depending of time of year and your post code.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY
If you wish to have a full demonstration on how to operate and use the ride on mower, one of our engineers will be able to fully instruct you on receipt of your order. This service is available as optional.

REMOVING YOUR OLD RIDE ON MOWER FREE OF CHARGE
We can collect and dispose of your old machine, free of charge.
